ancient roots meet modern agriculture

LAS MORERAS FRUIT & VEGGIES is the evolution of our traditional farm.

Here we produce and market our products without losing the spirit of their origin from a privileged enclave in the Vega Baja del Segura.

We have more than 300 agricultural hectares in several properties from TM Grupo Inmobiliario in which Las Moreras stands out for its historical character and where lemons, oranges, tangerines and limes are grown primarily, but also a variety of vegetables.

Our farms enjoy an exceptional Mediterranean climate ideal for the cultivation of citrus fruits and throughout its history it has been a leader at the forefront of pioneering initiatives in farm management:

• At the beginning of the 19th century the very first agricultural products were exported from the port of Torrevieja.

• In the first half of the 20th century, it became a model agricultural holding when its arid soil was converted into modern, fertile irrigated fields.

• Nowadays, in the 21st century, it has gained momentum with a modern handling plant for the preparation and commercialisation at source of traditional and organic citrus fruits which we provide thanks to the latest technology in machinery and energy efficiency.

We believe that quality begins in the field, and that is why we take care of our crops so that they give us the best raw material.

Our harvest is selective and tailored to our orders, which, combined with the fact that the classification and packaging facilities are on the main estate, ensures that each order is given exclusive attention to guarantee quality and freshness.

The handling facilities have been created recently – September 2020 – and a professional team with experience and continuous training works every day focused on the customer and committed to offering the best service.

This development means our lemons, oranges, tangerines and limes meet all market needs.

Thus, by controlling every stage from the source to the supply chain – cultivation, production, harvesting, handling, preparation and sale – we ensure food traceability with the highest safety and quality standards.
